It was very straightforward. Just pulled into the area for dropping off metal, put my box in a cart, they weighed my stuff and gave me a receipt with the amount I would get, then I took that receipt to the counter to get cash. I came with a small box to check out the place for the first time. I'll be back with some bigger items.

Only place in San Antonio left that dies good waste recycling and Ian and Mike are always a help always a pleasure but make sure you have your cash card or a check you shall get state law and all sucks though it does I recommend Great Northwest and it's sister Bracken recycling over any other in city 8 been to them all and these are the only ones at least trying to get you the most for what you bring in unlike most of the others who'll either chest you outright or lack.in the customer service and human resources department. Been coming for years and plan on continuing to ti come back for years to come

So glad this company is here. We live in a rural area, thus no curbside recycling. I drive my cardboard, aluminum cans and other metals in once a month or so.

Dec 23. They gave me $13 for 39 lbs of cans. (3 big black trash bags, of lightly crused cans) So you have an idea of what they pay. Because I didn't.

1st time going, my son had computer boards and cables to recycle, not sure what to do or expect, we were helped by Delilah, she instructed us on what needed to be done, as far as separating the boards out and cables for recycling. Delilah was very helpful, patient and nice making our first time at Great Northwest Recycling a good experience. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of money we were paid for what we brought to be recycled.

It's a great place to take cardboard for recycling.They don't pay for it but it's nice to get rid of my company trash. I go through 30 cardboard boxes a week. It helps the landfills. I also recycle aluminum and tin which they do pay for. I'm averaging about $50 a month on scrap left overs. Fast friendly staff sometimes it gets packed but it moves quickly.
